I have a child with a chronic illness or special healthcare needs. Where can I learn more about how to prepare for emergencies?
CYSHCN are especially vulnerable during disasters. The CDC page can help you plan for your child's unique needs before, during and after an event.
An emergency kit is necessary for all families, and especially important for families of children with special healthcare needs.
All children with a chronic illness or unique needs should have an Emergency Information Form (EIF) available at home, at school and on their person.
